Sharmilee in govt-grant movie after 16 years

Sharmilee AhmedVeteran film and TV actress Sharmilee Ahmed has performed in a government-grant movie after a long gap of 16 years. She will be seen performing against legendary film actor Razzak in the movie “Aakash Koto Dur,” which is being directed by Samia Jaman.

The movie got government grant in 2010 and its shooting was started in 2011. Recently, the shooting and dubbing of this movie have been completed and it’s now waiting to be placed before the Censor Board.

While talking about her performance in the film, Sharmilee said, “It’s been a long break, I was far away from film industry. Now-a-days, I am working a little bit in movies. The story of ‘Aakash Koto Dur’ is really outstanding. I hope the viewers will surely enjoy it.”

Meanwhile, Sharmilee is a very common and popular face to the television viewers of the country as she is seen playing the role as a mother in most of the plays and serials. At present, 12 TV serial is being aired regularly in which Sharmilee Ahmed has performed.

Earlier in 1995, Sharmilee, for the first time, performed in the government-grant movie “Hangor Nodi Grenade,” which was directed by Chashi Nazrul Islam.
