Kareena’s costumes worth 1.5 Cr. in Heroine!

Kareena Kapoor in Heroine MovieThe sizzling hot “Chammak Challo” baby of B-Town is all set to add feathers of most expensive dresses in her hat. The much talked about movie “Heroine” in which Bebo plays the lead, which set to release this year is all dead set on creating new records.

Kareena, for the movie has chosen a whooping 130 lavish and super-stylish dresses which would cost the Director of the movie, Madhur Bhandarkar, a hefty amount of Rs.1.5 crore approximately. Yes! Isn’t it jaw-dropping awe-strucking news!

The would-be Mrs.Nawab (God knows when) is a fashionista that everyone knows of, but this time it has taken aback each and everyone who has come across this news. Kareena had made news before while “Kambakkht Ishq” wearing a dress worth Rs.8 lakhs and this time is a whole set of ravishing, resplendent and gorgeous dresses that would make everyone go gaga over her. Well there are millions who droll over her even now.

Previously there have been news of stars wearing very expensive dresses like: Dhak-dhak girl, Madhuri Dixit, wearing a stone-studded dresses in Devdas which had each cost roughly around Rs.15 lakhs; Neeta Lulla’s outfits donned by Aishwariya Rai Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan in Jodha Akbar, studded with semi-precious stones, diamonds, etc, and Ash’s each costume cost around Rs.2 lakhs; Mallika Sherawat’s controversial diamond studded dress which she wore at an event; and making to the list is Sherlyn Chopra who fitted herself into a diamond studded bikini for a video shoot.

The director, Madhur tweeted saying “I made Chandni Bar in 2001 with 1.5 crores which today, a decade later, is Heroine’s costume budget for Kareena! How times have changed!” The movie’s first look is scheduled to come out on June 1, this year.

The smackingly hot dresses are being designed by none other than Manish Malhotra. Kareena has already charged a voluminous fee of Rs.6 crore and now just the dress budget of Rs.1.5 crore. Way to go Bebo!
